Ahmed Nabil has over 20 years of experience in the fields of Information Security, Technology, System Architecture, Project Management, Cyber Defense, Application Automation, Cloud Architecture, and IT Management.

He holds several professional certifications from leading global organizations, including Microsoft, CISCO, ISACA, ISC², PMI, IAPP, CWNP, PECB, CSA, and EC-Council.

Ahmed earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Control Engineering, a Master’s in Business Information Technology, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Currently, Ahmed serves as the Head of Information Security Engineering and Architecture at a leading bank.
Previously, he held key leadership roles including Corporate Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Regional Security Manager, and Chief Security Architect across several organizations in Egypt, the UAE, and the broader Middle East, covering sectors such as banking, payment services, utilities, and oil & gas.

Ahmed has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the cybersecurity community:

• Awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Enterprise Security, Cloud, and Data Center Management for 12 consecutive years (2013–2024).

• Honored as a Microsoft Regional Director (RD) in July 2020.

• Recipient of numerous accolades including:

  • MESA CISO 100 Award (Top CISO Executives in the Middle East)

  • CISO 50 Award

  • Egypt CISO of the Year Award (2018, 2021, 2022)

  • Global CISO Forum Award

Most recently, Ahmed was appointed as a Global Ambassador for the Global Council for the Responsible AI (UAE Chapter), recognizing his industry leadership and deep expertise in the cybersecurity and AI domains.
